AC Total Home Services is a handyman plus business that services Cecil County, Maryland and surrounding areas (up to 40 miles). While the established business is new, the owner and operator has been working in the construction business for nearly a decade, and has experience in many areas of the field, as well as related occupations. We are not just here to make money though, we are here to serve the community as well. An important part of our business also includes helping the underprivileged families in our community by providing low-cost and extremely discounted services for needed repairs/maintenance to homes and vehicles. By providing our services at these extremely discounted rates, we ensure that these individuals can obtain much needed services to help improve their quality of life. By becoming a customer of AC Total Home Services you are contributing to this cause by making it possible for us to provide these services to the less fortunate. Without our regular customers it would not be possible to purchase needed material or pay travel expenses to complete these jobs.
We understand that sometimes it is hard to put your trust in a name that is new and unknown, so we have taken the time to compile a list of references who can verify the quality of the work that we do. It is also important that our customers know that we are a family and community oriented company, and that their family is just as important as ours. For this reason we have created bios on our staff which include information on both business experience, and family life. As a customer with our company you will be treated as part of our family. This means that we will always treat you with the utmost respect, will keep you informed on all aspects of the project from beginning to end, give you the fairest price possible, and work with you on payment (because we understand that life happens).
One day, while doing a house call, AC noticed a home in the community that was badly in need of repair, and asked the customer if she thought her neighbor may be in need of his services also. From this inquiry AC came to find that the neighbor was a single mother with a disabled son, and although her home was badly in need of repair, she could not afford to pay someone to do the repairs (she could barely afford her rent). Recognizing that this was probably a circumstance that was not uncommon in the area, AC decided (with some support from his wife) to offer his service to these members of the community at extremely discounted rates. Needless to say, AC was able to replace a hot water heater, repair some water lines, and replace an area of rotted out floor for the mother, all within her budget.
In the coming year it is AC's hope to expand the business to employ a helper, and possibly move out of the garage and into a building. It is our hope that someday the business will be big enough to offer sufficient employment in our local community, as well as to be large enough to offer services FREE of charge to those in need. In order for this to happen it will take the support of current customers, and expansion of services to new clientele.
